Dr. Buch has over 20 years of experience diagnosing and treating patients with gastrointestinal disorders – such as digestive system cancers, gastritis, acid reflux, Barrett’s esophagus, celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease amongst others. In addition, the practice is also focused on the prevention of digestive diseases and cancers and digestive health and wellness. He has consistently used the latest advancements in endoscopic techniques as well as other cutting edge diagnostic tests and procedures, proudly bringing University-level care to the Hudson Valley for the past twenty years. Dr. Buch graduated from the prestigious Bronx High School of Science. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia University in New York City, Dr. Buch graduated from East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. He completed his residency in primary care medicine at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island where he was named Resident of the Year. He completed his training with a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Strong Memorial Hospital/University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.

Dr. Buch maintains his advanced credentialing to stay up-to-date with ever-changing innovation in Gastroenterology. He is board-certified in Gastroenterology, a diplomate of the National Board of Medicine, and a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the Medical Society of the State of New York.

He has published numerous research papers in prestigious medical journals, such as the American Journal of Gastroenterology. Dr. Buch is deeply involved in his Hudson Valley community, and he and his team treat patients like family. He is currently accepting new patients.
